Respawn Gives Up, Cheaters Rampant

Respawn is now to the point they are trolling us as a community and are supporting cheaters. It's time to walk away.

I know for 100 FACT they are not banning cheaters. I watched somebody with infinite ammo on an r301 just lay down 40 kills in the control type. ONLY report I made and Respawn did not take action. I just got the email.

Sorry EA, I can't spend another penny on your games - any genre, until you support games, communities, the appropriate way. Pay somebody to moderate each server if that is what it takes. Have reports viewed instantly to the point where something like this can't happen.

A banwave will be quite useful, it will at least lower the amount of cheaters for a while, makes it a more bearable period. (Not sure why banwaves are being used, though I'll try to research it, might be an interesting topic if honest)
I mean, you're assuming nothing is being done, though I personally believe that is kind of unfair since we're unable to know any of their internal projects.
Maybe they have big plans, maybe they don't, though it's not like they're doing nothing.
It's always going to be a war, with every new release of the anticheat, a new release of a cheat will be created.
Personally I don't even encounter that many cheaters, if at all, it seems to be a bit rare, so it might also be a regional thing.
And that's the thing right? Are they really running rampart just because they're playing a lot in a specific region? You'd be getting way more complaints about cheaters if they're all condensed in a few servers, though if they were to be a bit more spread out then we probably would hear less of it. So the problem might look bigger for some players whilst for others it might look smaller.
Honestly, you can try playing on a different datacenter and try to see if you get less cheaters, though it's understandable if you won't keep playing due to this.

From what I know, pretty much 99% of cheater bans are done manually due to the anti-cheat detecting it.
EA is working on a new anticheat, so it might be a bit behind with what's currently implemented, though they are for sure working on something.
A banwave might also be on the rise in the next split, though I don't have any exact information related to it.
(Also aren't you supposed to have infinite ammo in control?)

@XHelperZWhen I say inifinite ammo, I meant reloading. He did not reload on infinite ammo. He just held his trigger the entire match. Sat there and watched it in an 8x scope from a distance. Just observed it. Clearly had aimbot with zero recoil as well. /

A banwave? Who cares, control type you don't even need to be ranked to destroy the entire lobby. Create a new account, go through training, join lobby and destroy them until they "catch up the anti cheat" - You're joking right. We're just going to play a game knowingly that cheaters are running rampant and nothing is being done about it.

I can't find it in me to join another lobby, sorry. I'm out.

@anab0lixThe only way they can get foothold of cheaters is to move to require a phone number connected to the account. This will never happen because people will lose their minds.

Cheating is rampant on Apex legends, literally 60% of base players is cheating in any form, softaim, esp, not recoil,.....

I agree, the amount of cheating is unbelievable - it's painfully obvious that Anti-Cheat is absolutely worthless.
I've been playing for 4 years and have never experienced getting killed by a few headshots while in purple armor from somebody at a great distance wielding a Flatline or R99.
This game is rapidly becoming NO FUN.
I am looking for other online alternatives until EA/Respawn gets serious about this.

@HappyHourSumwur Might as well delete your account with EA cause that's not ever going to happen. They'll play victim like they always do and give more lies and excuses when in fact they haven't a clue what to do and still believe manually banning is more effective than an actual system that works but God forbid you publicly name any cheaters cause they are very quick to protect the scum.

Even if they knew (which they don't) I doubt they would kill their own game by removing most of their base player, the game is running by cheaters and there is no cure right now... this reminds me of the old COD days where the option to report did laugh at the cheaters, at least respawn uses EAC.....well they keep laughing...
