I literally jus played a game as lifeline trying to pull a revive off but couldn’t because he keep getting beamed because it’s a non moving target that slowly stands up idk who came up with the animation for the revive but it’s doing more damage than good and the revive itself is to slow to pull off 9/10 you get pushed by the time you get the revive off or they get beamed because they couldn’t craw fast enough to get to cover meaning I jus went for the revive because there is no cover then I’d have to body block and then I get beamed jus so my teammate can get revived only to get 1 shot I’m losing brain cells trying to understand how Newcastle having a shield revive is balanced when he can 100% get the revive off with no plenty’s yet lifeline seems left in such a old fashioned state that it’s basically pointless to even player her over Newcastle……. Whoever came up with the character creation and gave it the okay really didn’t care about balancing at all and jus said whatever
@icanthearyouu The animation was meant to go with her old shield "once Ll's most broken and abused ability." Best use of auto rez now is for teammates that are downed to go behind a corner/ find cover while you and the 3rd push.
Again that won’t work in every situation I’ve been in as a lifeline the revive is pointless I only use lifeline for her tactical best healing (only healing) in the game no need to carry a bunch of medkits her revive is basically useless in almost every situation unless you get a counter knock to stop the enemy from pushing you I’ve played lifeline for long time and can tell you without a doubt her revive is completely useless unless the circumstances are highly in your favor or unless they are 100% safe from and grenades and sniper shots/charge rifles in every random situation 9/10 you might as well jus start running to the crafter to get the banner back only to still not be able to revive your teammate because the zone is already to small and you don’t have any Mobile beacons and even if you did we all know they get beamed the moment their boots hit the ground
