@BaldWraithSimp exactly, point system was't the main issue. demotion protection is the biggest issue and dummies don't want to admit it.
@WreckingViThey are enabling the stuck being to be even dumber now unfortunately. A stuck level 4 player will just push everything hoping the other players are higher rank.
@WreckingVi Ironically a part of the playerbase is the key reason we can't have nice things like rank demotion, If they added it people would just reverse boost ranked for easy lobbies.
Sometimes the solution isn't as simple as it may seem on the surface.
- @MandatoryIDtag what is the point of reverse boost? People use smurfs for that now - so why not. That will solve that - same issue but without smurfs at least, you will just get level 200, 300, 500 ppl in Bronze lobbies. Have fun.
What demotion would fix:
- ppl would not use account boosting as much
- ppl would think twice about what they do, how they play
- there would be a clear indication of their CURRENT skill level vs other players = no longer possible to get boosted or use some other easier ways to rank up and then just get stuck there for weeks (ruining game for others who just want to have decent games with random ppl)@Eshshshss well in short, if you have an open path to easy lobbies without having to create a new account,why would you bother creating a new account?
Don't get me wrong I don't disagree with rank demotion, I just don't want to see anything added to the game that creates further ease of access to noob stomping.
- @MandatoryIDtag honestly, right now is worse. because boosting is already happening. Now those players get boosted to Diamond n Masters in 1st week, then they can play dumb for the rest of split and lose thousands of RP but never drop ranked.
like what the heck man. You have to be super clueless as a dev not seeing this. Worse part is we have demotion in ranked arena, like another what the heck lol

@MandatoryIDtag Totally agree. This is *EXACTLY* what would happen. This is why I quit FIFA. Loads of toxic people were relegating themselves to much lower divisions for easy wins for objectives. I just go sick of it and quit.
- @WreckingVi 100% is an issue. it's even more obvious when solo queing and having to deal with hard stuck p4 and d4 teammates who couldn't care less since they've reached their desired rank
