- @Leo_the_Lion25 If you have the choice, do so mate, solo queue is filled mostly with people who deserve to have their egos crushed anyway so odds are you may never ruin the fun for a decent group of people trying to work together and win while you're stacking in casual matches

This is a team game.
You're calling your teammates dumb, while you're trying to play a team game solo. You do realize they probably think you're dumb for superman solo-rushing into 1v3s instead of supporting the team, right?
.
- @Okra-Bolero That is the position I usually take.
However. . .
I also kind of noticed that yesterday. I can't speak for how @Leo_the_Lion25 plays, but for me personally I noticed a loooot of people playing very conservatively yesterday.
I had one match yesterday that my random teammates would literally turn tail and run the opposite direction upon seeing any enemies. I'm sitting there like "The respawn ship just came in they're sitting ducks and two of us have gold armor let's gooooo!"
*nyoooom*
Look up, and teammates are halfway into the next area. Welp, guess we're not getting those kills. That’s every game for me since start of season 4 unless I triple stack pubs. It’s so frustrating going into a fight that you HAVE to fight because they’re literally in a building next to you, get a kill then go down on a 2v1 to find your teammates 15 seconds away just watching from behind a rock. It’s the worst when you can manage two kills and then the last guy 1v2s them because they’re to much of a potato to actually kill him.
Season 4? This was happening most of my season 3 at least with playing with randoms. It was my main reason for requesting solos, which we obviously are never going to get.
Team based game my butt.
Btw when did epicenter become the new trainyard in 5 games in a row last night my random teammates wanted to go there no matter which route the dropship was taking. Land get next to a squad that had shield and L-stars and back to the lobby.
Anyways if you have the option of pre-made and can get in game more power to you. By about an hour and a half in Iwas done last night 2 of my newer friends popped online and we played for a bit, more fun for sure, but it was sad at the beginning of the night I had a bunch of friends on that had not played in a while and they were all squadded up for the night. I would have liked to at least had a chance dropping in the first game or 2 with someone I had played with before.
On topic again I don't know how the matchmaking works and don't care anymore. This is not a team based game solo with random fill. It is a * fest of getting 3 v 1 whether your teammates are around or not.
So here is another plea give us solo so we as solo cued players can enjoy the game too.
funny topic, always complaining about teammates and yet, i have the feeling that op isn't that good in solo games
- @NaRnIaaa harsh but could be the case.
Nonetheless some teammates lack a brain and it's worse when it's both teammates who are in a party together and try to rush a battle they aren't ready for. - Me and my team: Literally the incarnation of idiotic
Enemies: All apex predators
So 57+ players are Predators while it is only you who got matched with bad teammates For those saying that I'm bad or rushing 2 squads. That is not the case. And the team game excuse is getting old.
you loot what you need and when people are fighting, you get in there and fight which is known as third partying. You did see that I walk away with 2-5 kills?
I don't run in by myself either. I ping the enemy location clearly stating that I'm heading there. Don't you heard them shooting each other? Don't you see the bullets flying as visuals. Don't you see the clear knockdowns that are happening in the to right corner of the screen which is actually nearby our current location.
I also had teammates who do finishers in the middle of a gun fight when it not safe to do one. Or someone does a finisher when I am clearly thirsting the guy for his loot. Your finisher is 5 seconds and they are not smart enough to cancel it. By then, that person's teammate will come to shoot them and I don't have the heals to fight that person because oh they were doing a finisher.
Not only that, I had teammates where we landed and one dies. But the other teammate thinks it a good idea to leave me fighting 1 vs 4 because he goes to respawn our thristed teammate. Come on man. And guess what??? I kill and down 2-3 people before I go down myself. Then my teammate comes back after I get thirsted and the people i knocked and wasn't able to thirst get up. Now you go down and that teammate you thought it was a good idea to respawn has zero items, weapons and gear. Great job you did because that teammate is nothing but a free kill.
But I'm the bad teammate/player?
No, I'm above average and have game sense and knowledge. Not everyone has it which I understand.
But the SBMM system is messed up. What I'm saying is you throw the good players in with the people who are still learning or not above average. Then that person who is above average go against sweats or people near their level of gameplay, movement, game sense, skill. It not fun man.
I also told a Revenant to ult so I can third party the last two teams fighting. He never once ult. Do you know what a Revenant ultimate does? Respawn with 1 HP if you died. If I failed to kill the lifeline and wattson. I would come back with 101 HP. Guess what, he doesn't do so. I third party because wattson was down and lifeline was reviving. I failed to kill them because Lifeline had the golden backpack so Wattson got up with 130 HP. Well isn't that great? I have zero faith in this Revenant's player's skills and you know what. He died instantly. Thanks for not using you ultimate buddy when I kindly asked him like 10 times to drop an ult.
And before anyone asked me if I was at fault for losing that game. Nope, I had 8 kills 2055 damage with a L-STAR/Flatline. I did 142 damage to the lifeline who was 200 and 130 damage to the Wattson before going down. I lost because Wattson got up with 130 something health. Oh, let me say that my Revenant was on a cliff just watching me when these two people were clearly the last people in the match...
I tell you, SBMM is giving me teammates with no common game sense. That is why I am hating SBMM.
I will say that the SBMM gives me the most broken team sometimes. By this, I mean the SBMM gives me Diamond or Predator tier teammates. Myself being Diamond Tier Player and we destroy the lobby. Entire team gets 5 kills 2000 damage or it be like 5-10 kills 1000-2500 damage among the teammates. With 10-25 kills as a squad. Come on now. There's a difference here but it rarely happens.
- @Leo_the_Lion25 I think you hit upon an important point in these discussions, however I don't think it's SBMM.
I play significantly better with a solid team. I'm no God tier by any means, but I can usually pull out 2-3 kills before any shenanigans go down in a game. Put a couple of equally present players with me though... I had a game the other night where myself and the two random teammates popped off. Somehow we just clicked, and walked out of that arena with 18 squad kills, evenly distributed, and every member with 1500-2500 damage.
But SBMM can't test against player awareness. I think a lot of people play with the intention of unwinding. From my perspective, Apex by design is just not the game for that. Thats why I usually stand against complaints about sbmm and forced trios. To play Apex effectively you need to be present in the game and actively working together with your squad to succeed. Some people, regardless of skill, just don't want to do that. To that I say play a different game and come back when your actually ready to throw down.
Idk. Maybe I just defined sweaty.
Tl:DR - Some people don't play seriously enough, but sadly sbmm can't fix that.
