I have a question if someone could answer, I wanted to change my screen name to Natalie Paquette which is Wattsons name in apex but the client says it contains words not allowed ?? What exactly is not allowed? Its legends offcial lore name...
If it is not allowed you will have to choose something else.
I can only speculate but it could be that EA/Respawn has trademark/copyright protections on that name and that may be why it cannot be used.
...Yeah I know I have to choose different name but I think Ill just stick to my current one I guess :D but its not allowed because it contains "profane" bad bad word inside it and not because there is a supposed to copyright tied to it lol thats the same logic if I change my name to Lara Croft irl and core design will rise from ashes and sue me , do you think this name does no exist in France, it sure does so then should those people sue respawn for copyright 🙂 And I have seen people with literal cuss words and sexual things in their nicks allowed so I just find it extremely funny that I cant have a nickname based of an Apex Legends character, this modern day censorship is funny, I get called all sorts of derogative, misogynistic, racist and sexist names in text and voice chat ( i have speech to text turned on) way to often and I reported them quite some times and then I got timed out for saying #!@& two times in span of a year , so I just stopped reporting and just mute them but hey I guess this is the current time we live in.
