Diamond Players Get Trails Again: It shouldn't have been removed in the first place and took like a year to come back. As always tardiness is a synonym for Respawn after all.
Improved match quality, longer queue times for more teammates of the same rank hopefully. This is a good thing.
Increased assist timing, you now have 10 seconds to get an assist up from 7.5 seconds. This is also a good thing. \
Placement RP starts at 13th place instead of 10th, and Kill / Assist cap has been increased to 6. These don't make sense to me.
@hayhor then shouldn't they reward skilled play by eliminating the kill cap altogether, and removing tier demotion protection? Nothing says, "I don't belong here." than getting consistently getting 10-20 kills in low ranks. Then when you hit Diamond that's when tier demotion protection kicks in (probably cause there still won't be enough people in Diamond).
Like here's what I would think about someone getting 10-20 kills per match for each rank:
Bronze: You don't belong here.
Silver: You don't belong here.
Gold: You don't belong here.
Platinum: You got lucky in one game and can't do it consistently, or if you do do it consistently, you don't belong here / are cheating.
Diamond: You got lucky in one game and can't do it consistently, or if you do do it consistently, you don't belong here / are cheating.
Masters: You're probably cheating.
Apex Predator: You're definitely cheating.
