Should I quit?
Hey guys, I'm considering giving up on the game. I have never played FPS before this. I'm level 28 in the game but I really struggle to get kills, maybe 1 or 2 but most of the time I get 0. I alrea...
I'll also try csgo than, along with tf2 and bf1 since I already bought them lol. I'll match all my sensitivity settings among them.
My mouse is the standard cyberpowerpc mouse, which is supposed to be a "gaming" mouse, it has adjustable weights and like ten buttons, yet the driver is microsoft regular. So it looks like I will need to buy a new mouse
Like I mentioned earlier, my mouse pad is 27 cm so I should also upgrade that. I need a rigid mouse pad because my setup requires the mouse pad to extend beyond my desk.
I never heard of AimHero or Kovaak's Aim Trainer but it sounds like that was my solution all along. Lmao
QUESTION: Is there a better / easier way to match my sensitivity settings among separate games, other than aiming at a spot and spinning 360°? I'm going to have to set up these fps games all at once, and that method doesn't seem accurate, it's also a hassle to perform without messing it up several times.
Your mouse is your main issue. You need true 1 to 1 sensor with good ergonomics and a bigger mouse pad indefinitely. You will notice your aim will improve drastically once you get a mouse with a flawless sensor and raise your cm/360 aka lower sens trust me. I've been playing FPS on PC since Counter-Strike Beta 6 back when there was no Steam. Make sure the mouse you get is on this list https://on-winning.com/flawless-sensor-mouse-list-perfect/ I would recommend SteelSeries Rival 310 or Sensei 310 if you're a leftie, it's such a good mouse my aim improved immediately upon using it and practicing with Aim Hero (best $5 i've spent)
Also if you are on a tighter budget I would recommend the Logitech G203, It's not on that "flawless" list yet but I can assure you it is a "flawless" sensor! Also it's around $29 USD so it's the best budget mouse you can get basically!
Please take my advice and get back to me afterward. Some more advice I would give is to check your FPS in game and make sure you're getting at least a constant 60 fps. If not I would consider upgrading your hardware. I recently purchased a 240hz monitor because my computer was beefy enough to do 140+ FPS in game yet I was stuck with a 4k 60hz monitor so I was only really seeing 60 frames per second. Jumping from 60hz to 240hz was HUGE, the response and feedback I get from the mouse now in FPS is UNEQUIVOCALLY better I wish I invested in it a long time ago! That upgrade alone made my gameplay improve also. So keep in mind there are a lot of factors that could be why you are not doing great, the main one I believe is your cm/360 is too low and you're over aiming. Secondly the cyberpower pc gaming mouse and all other included mice from vendors that sell pre configured PC's are literally hot garbage! Third you need to get your cm/360 dialed in to 45ish to start and practice on CSGO and Aim Hero / Kovaak's to get you some muscle memory. Also you will need to watch some high skill cap players so you can get some more game sense and learn some tips and tricks. Let me know how it goes if you end up getting a new mouse and taking my advice, look forward to seeing you improve!
