Is it just me or does crypto fall on the lower end of the legend scale because controlling his drone leaves him defenseless and causes him to fall behind his team? I like the concept of crypto so (assuming I'm not alone in thinking this) I think there's an easy buff to make that'll make him usable... Give crypto a special set of 'pings' on the ping wheel (or even a separate ping wheel) so that he can control the drone outside of flying it. Of course it's not going to allow him as flexible control as being in the drone, but it'll do a lot to give him an edge and not drop him behind his buddies all the time.Perhaps he could have a few flight modes if he gets an entire ping wheel for it, e.g. - One ping could ask the drone to move to that location - Another one could set a path for the drone to circle - Another could set a few way points to patrol Could tie into his lore and be a little meta at the same time - i.e. Crypto has figured out how to hack into the game's ping system from within the game, and use it to control his drone etc. What are your thoughts? Think Crypto is good as he is? Or do you think this small buff would be too much / not enough?

Or let it hover over him and give him an eagle eye for a smaller radius. that will show people where the crypto is but also allow the crypto to see where they are so he moves, the drone follows him because at the moment, you're either crypto or a drone

@RSArussian it would be nice if crypto can use the drone with respawn beacon

Yeah that's exactly right - quick controls for the drone.
Recording a path works too
Honestly anything that allows the drone to do some reposition / movement without stopping, chilling in a corner and hoping no one sees you while you're droning would be an improvement.
The biggest reason I don't use crypto is because I keep falling behind me team, then spend the rest of the game in catch up mode. I know some have learned to use him well, but I think with the current system there's a low glass ceiling that can be raised a lot with "quick controls" as you put it

@RSArussianNo need to apologise. It wasn't a topic but brought up just in a thread somewhere how you could make some legends more enjoyable.

Being stationary and playing fly the uav with an emp is damn boring.

@div-Aether-div That's an interesting idea - balanced risk and reward. It only rewards you if your enemies are close, but its a big risk for enemies a little further (as you can't spot them but they can spot you). Interesting idea

@RSArussian He would need a slight rework or nerf to compensate but i think it's doable and would make him much more fun to use.

I would actually main him for a bit if they did but Respawn have their own idea of what's fun and balanced.

Quick controls for the drone would be cool, one that makes it hover above him would be the best option. It would give away your position but target the enemies as your fighting and relocating. Might be hard to use in buildings though.
To make him on par with with top legend I think he really only needs two things, remove the damage done to his own shields during the ultimate emp, and give the camera either a 360 degree view or increase the distance where it will mark enemies for you.
