Skill Based MatchMaking
As a day one player who started on release who continues to play on the regular i want to say i fell in love with this game and appreciate it very much. Since i started day one i have alot of experience and would consider myself an above average player. But saying that by no means do i consider myself an elite player nor do i wish on becoming one, im just a regular casual gamer. With skill based matchmaking in public games i must say it has made the game much less enjoyable and is almost pushing me away from the game all together. I find myself constantly being thrown into elite lobbies whether im playimg ranked or not. Alot of the time i tend to play solo and alot of the teammates i get are not on the level of our opponents. Im not going to say take out SBMM all together, but i will say it has drastically changed the amount of joy i use to get playing the game. I believe SBMM is pushing away alot of the day one casual players and alot of the core fan base. Should every game be easy, absolutely not but i tell you what it sure would be nice to get lucky an get an easier lobby once in awhile. Getting swarmed by good players every game and feeling like i dont even stand a chance in my lobbies anymore really sucks. I tend to play for a half hour or so and just get frustrated, discouraged, and just decide to play something els. Please bring back the fun of the game and make Apex great again.
