Skill Based Matchmaking

Overview
I have been playing Apex Legends for about 2/3 years, mainly on PS4, but now on PC. I have only gotten to the rank of Platinum since I didn't like Ranked that much, and I have played enough to get at least 1 thousand kills in total on a character on PC. 

Review
I love Apex Legends. I love the graphics, the guns, the frameworks in general make me a happy person. I like Arenas and the normal public matches, especially with my brother and our friends when we play. I will play for hours on end because the game is captivating and very distracting. That is what we as gamers want: To be distracted from what we have or need to deal with. 

Downside
I wish that, in all honesty, that I could play the game casually. I don't like to do a bunch of unnecessary movement to distract my enemy, I don't t-bag players after I kill them for an ego boost, nor do I go onto people's Twitch streams and talk trash because they killed me or vice versa. I understand, however, why people do these things; I was like this with another game for a while when I was so competitive. What I hate most about this game with such little reason to hate is that I CANNOT play casually against people who want to do the same. 

I play time and time again against people who have achieved the highest ranks, hardest badges, and 20 fold my playtime in every single public match I go into. I have tried using bot lobbies, I have tried using a character I don't use in the lobby and then choosing a different one in the game, it doesn't matter. I can't have fun because I can't play against people who are slightly better or at the same level as me. I only watch people fly through the air with a drum mag shotgun, pumping me full with their ego and skill. They are so much better than I am, and I want to know why I have to play against them.
