Smurfs are a big problem.
So i started playing again after a few months and i like the new ranked system. But i started on silver, And every champion squad and i get * every game by people that have 4K dmg badges and 20 kill...
@GRiPSViGiLI really don't see the issue with SBMM, I've been consistently getting matched against players with 20 bombs, 2500+ kills and difficult to get badges.
I don't find the lobbies to be that terribly hard for my skill level. I'm definitely on the lower end of these lobbies skill level. But I still have some 1700+ damage games with high kills and multiple revives/respawns. The other night I did exactly 1700 damage with I think 7 kills, my squad mate did 1683 with 10 kills. It was just me and him/her the entire match... Despite being at a disadvantage we still posted decent numbers.
Sure they can be challenging and my win ratio is not above average. I win about 5% of my matches, some nights I do better other nights I do worse. That's about spot on considering there are 20 teams and that gives you about a 5% chance at winning if all things are equal.
The smurf account could be easy to detect but to guarantee it is little tricky.
Most people has 1 Platform to play (one PS4 at home).
So if the game see there're already existing old account with high stats, then there's new account created and this new account perform similiar to old account, it's prime suspect of smurf account (while it's not guarantee since you could have two kids, and another kid is also good at FPS).
Note:
If the person has multiple platform, it's not easy to be good on all platform.
Good PS4 player doesn't necessary good PC player (or vice versa), so it's harder to smurf across platform.
