Solo queuing with randoms is even worse now
I think solo queuing with randoms is even worse than ever with all the S20 changes. I didn't think it was possible to be worse, but it is.

its not fun in rank solo queuing.... I personally not having no fun. It seems you have to have a premade team to move up in the rankings
- @HappyHourSumwur to me its same jumping 100 times to find one good game
This system is better but don't expect to get master solo unless you are really good and able to consistently carry average plat players in pred lobbies.
- @hayhor Winning a 1v1 won't get you blue shields now and it did before. Opening a special loot bin (+100 evo) plus hitting the evo harvester (+350 evo) will do it though.
This game has been getting more difficult over the past year but it's even worse now with these changes for average players.
The good players are getting kills quick and level up their shields way before I do which means I now have to go up against better players who will have level 2 or 3 shields while I still have level 1.
At least before this season I could get lucky and find a level 3 shield early and get a chance to survive. Not now!
I don't even know what a level 3 shield looks like anymore!
- @Marge010 Dead on. Average players can't luck into a shield advantage anymore.
- @HappyHourSumwur Just do what many of us do. I refuse to play entirely with randoms (outside of mixtape, but there I'm just focusing on weapons objectives so really don't care). I always play with at least one friend and sometimes a pre made squad. Won't touch it otherwise, it's pointless.
- @HappyHourSumwur Honestly I haven't seen much of a diff. If anything I feel like I can solo queue better with Ranked going back to near OG settings. I do still get dummy tms every now & then.
Like today we landed in Stacks with just one team. They didn't wanna push that single team but then soon as we take the jump tower & land where there's fighting they try to 3rd party & die. Then after I respawn them, 1 of them runs off to fight near the edge of the ring & dies again smh! Wdym worse ? it can't be worse for soloQ players , it's just the same as every season.
Most of the time my teammates can't even put 25% of my dmg.
