Speed up the ring timers
The first ring should have a long time so people can fight and loot. But every ring after that needs to be much shorter like 1-1.5 minutes tops There is currently too much downtime in the middle rin...
actually yeah I do know. we all know. no one's talking about it for a reason. it gets talked about alot in pubg for example.. because people don't like the ring in pubg, it makes. them fight the ring and not other players, it doesn't let them loot up or resupply. so it's not liked. what you're asking for is to frustrate the larger casual base that is making this game so successful.
it's not uncalled for to want a faster paced ring but I. think you know that should come in a more "hard. core" playist with other changes. as it is now, the player base is content with being able to catch up to the ring and stay in the fight with the chance to fight and loot and move on
"No one's talking about it" really? How bout a youtuber with 1.4 million subscribers and lots of followers on social media etc
Skip to 7:40 for the relevant part. By the way he includes a direct counter argument to your point about pubg which i do not play but he clearly does
One man obviously doesnt speak for everyone but this guy has a lot more influence and can reach far more people than you or i posting on a forum so i highly doubt no one is talking about it
People who have seen this video, shared it with others, maybe hes posted about this topic on twitter and instagram, there could be other youtubers who i dont watch who have the same opinion, whatever the case may be, you simply dont know this for a fact and ive proven it
you're right, he doesn't speak for everyone.
And yet hes talking about it which means you're wrong. And guess what? You dont speak for everyone either and never assume that you do
This topic is not something that everyone agrees on and it cannot be dismissed like you seem to think it can
What can be dismissed however is your insistence that no one is talking about it, that much we know for a fact is not true
wow, 3 people. before the nights out,. who knows how many more tens of people you can find talking about it. the other 30 million will not even notice because it isn't an issue for them. they sure as hell will notice if it starts to emulate the pubg ring. I don't know if you noticed, but they took everything pubg was doing wrong and players were asking for and did it. the generous ring time was made with time to fight, loot and revive in mind. it's a key component of their version of BR, much like the fast barely get out and both parties will die to the ring if they decide to fight style of pubg
Yea because only the people i find are the ones talking about something lol great logic on that one
Wow i cant see everyone living in texas right now so therefore THEY DONT EXIST. That sound about right? Haha come on now
Again you think 30 million people agree with you which you've based on "nobody talking about it" which ive proven to be wrong so the entire premise for your argument is off therefore your conclusion is wrong as well and 30 million people do not agree with you
This is an issue that needs to be looked at, and like driftor said during those middle rings the action grinds to a halt which is fun for nobody
And if part of the problem is the looting then improve that as well which he also mentioned. Increase the amount and quality of loot so people dont have to loot as much before geting what they want, which will save time and cut out the filler so you can then make the ring faster and allow people to fight
If respawn looks at the data and notices such little activity during the middle of matches they should do something to correct the problem plain and simple i dont care what pubg does or did this game should be evaluated on its own and needs to fix problems specific to it
you have a good point with uping the quality of the loot if time is decreased but it does not account for time to get into action. I site pubg because it has what your asking for. and thru experience with the parameters you want to set, I'm telling you they made a good choice and it shows. people take issue with the glitches, over powered weapons and cheating. thing ring isnt on people's mind because it isn't nipping at their heals keeping them from looting and shooting. it isn't a problem, it was a very deliberate design decision. fight the players not the ring
if you don't know where to find a fight you must be pretty new. i encourage you to keep learning and getting better at the game. you'll get there kid!
My account level is 58 and i have 511 kills with around 30-40 wins. I've played enough time and I'm good enough at the game to know what I'm talking about and have a valid, informed opinion regarding the timer for the ring. Thanks for the advice but I encourage you to keep it for yourself kid!
The major issue I see with the game are the high tier loot zones. Half the server drops into there. Half the server disappears in the first two minutes of the matfch. Then you have one big * map with only half of the player base. If you drop into a low agro zone you can literally spend the entire game running around doing jack * except looting. Because you won't see another soul. Increasing the ring timers would help some-what but I think just removing the high tier loot zones would make the progress of the game more interesting. IE Just making loot RNG across the entire map instead of pushing players to drop in certain areas.
It's not even that. People just don't wait at all and drop at start anywhere. If the hotzone is at the end of planepath, even if it has a dropship on it, there's quite high chance you can still get it uncontested. There are usually no more than 10 people in the plane halfway. If 50 people kill themselves in 1/10th of the map, of course the midgame will feel slow. That will change as people learn to play, stop dropping hot for nothing and start spreading out a bit more. The circle timers are definitely not too slow. 20 minute average game time is perfect, as determined in multiple other games.
