Huge L decision lmao
I am annoyed as i own the skin because they are changing a cosmetic I already payed for. I am nowhere near the crazy people who measure every pixel on their skins, but I do have to admit this iron sight was better than the regular one.

@MrCarri-X Not only did we pay for it, it's a middle finger to the "veterans" who have stuck around for that long. I'm sorry to all the influx of new players that missed it, not only are they not getting it they're ruining for the player base that have been supporting the game for this long.
@DankTolietThere are more “newer” players than there are veterans. Respawn and many other companies are more about “serving the greater good (larger player group) than they are about honoring fairness (in this scenario, a fair transaction of money for a skin).
The majority group matters more than the minority. Even if something is fairly earned, if the majority thinks its unfair because they don’t have it, they will be catered to.The needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few— right? (Sigh)

I thought the common opinion is that Respawn serves the minority more (pros) than the newer casual players?

I only started playing Apex cause Nick Mercs told me I don't like Warzone anymore. But the people who were playing this long before me have different, unattainable skins. This is reductive of course but its how I view these folks who are calling for the weapon changes based on cosmetics.- @DethMetalMilkMan I disagree, I believe that people that were here longer should not have any sort of advantage, even if they paid for that advantage.

@DethMetalMilkMan They're not losing fights because of the skin. Their skill level is why they're getting bulldozed over.
I've gone to Diamond solo 5 seasons, I hold a lifetime 2.17 k/d.....all because of Heat Sink. Guess after this collection event I won't be able to make it out of Bronze.

How is this a middle finger to you? Do you not still have the skin? Can you not still use it?
How is making the iron sights consistent with the base model "ruining for the player base that have been supporting the game for this long."? I really am curious.
If it's the "player and not the sights" then why care they fixed the sights to match the rest of the models?

It's like if you took out a loan for your house, you live there for years then suddenly the bank comes and paints your doors DooDoo Brown, just to match the new development of house they built two months ago. Yes you still have the livable house, fundamentally nothing has changed but the fact they did it without your consent would anger most people.
Be hones, you know, I know, and even the crybabies know their skill is losing them fights not the sight their opponent is using. They just need something to justify their lack of it. It's only going to get worse, when they blame the next thing. What gets nerfed after this to help them out?

And that in fact most mortgage terms note that there ARE limits to changes you can make to a home that could impact the mortaged value? For example, while I might want to knock down my unattached garage, and pay less in property taxes, I would at least need to go to the bank and get a Mortage Amendment approved. So, yes, sometimes in fact the _bank will tell you what you can do with your house._ At least I would hope you know these differences, unless you are in fact 14.
In fact, that EULA you agree to when playing has a passage about them changing or modifying the game code as they see fit:
"From time to time, EA may update, change or modify an EA Service, Content or Entitlements, without notice to you. These updates and modifications may be required in order to continue to use EA Services.
"EA may need to update, or reset certain parameters to balance game play and usage of EA Services. These updates or "resets" may cause you setbacks within the relevant game world and may affect characters, games, groups or other Entitlements under your control."
So, yeah, your argument continues to fall apart under logical scrutiny. So, again, if you are so good you didn't need the iron sights on the gun and the rest of the gun still looks the same, why are you upset about it?
