Re: Is Apex Legends Choosing Consoles Over Competitive Fairness?

The addition of a new legend is fine, but the developers need to realize that players aren't leaving due to a lack of content. There is a growing frustration within the PC community regarding the current state of competitive integrity. For years, PC gaming has been defined by raw skill, movement, and hundreds of hours of aim training. Now, it feels like that mechanical mastery is being overshadowed by the current implementation of aim assist and cross-platform imbalances.

It is difficult to call the game truly 'competitive' when the focus has shifted from player skill to technical workarounds, such as optimizing controller deadzones or specific resolutions just to maximize aim assist stickiness.

After 8 years, it feels like the core audience that built the competitive foundation of Apex is being overlooked. We need more transparency-starting with a simple input icon in the death recap to distinguish between native MNK and controller users on PC. We are also tired of doing the manual labor of recording clips to report players using third-party hardware adapters like Cronus or Titan.

Please, stop ignoring the community that cares about the long-term health and fairness of this game. We want to compete based on skill, not on software assistance
