I normally just stop for a minute and mute + report, I'm not getting my day ruined because of a narcissistic foton trying to ruin my day blaming me for his own bad plays. I think the OP has a very good post and its needed, because most of the yellers are the problem themselves - either by managing to go in and die by themselves and not owning it while trying to blame their teammates, or doing interesting choices that pacifies the teammates since they need to go into rescue/guard mode to try save the day. But strangely enough these are often the guys that go yelling, calling names and posting forum posts about bad teammates and how they outplayed someone higher level then themselves because xxx insert fancy reason here. When reality is they took down the team themselves or died all by themselves.
I cant count how many times an "angry" person rotates away from a perfect gate keeping position for the ring into a pinch position on chase expecting the team to follow and me and my team mate like naah, red flag maneuver never gona happen. Then he gets a knock, he gets knocked and hell is loose, no matter if you politely try tell him how bad a move he did and why he died .... yep mute, report...
Edit: Yes I do stupid maneuvers myself in pubs to have fun but I dont yell on anyone about it, I own my own mistakes and laugh it away afterwards 😉
I had this experience yesterday. Jumpmaster pinged area to land, I usually break off to land nearby so we don't cannabalize each other's loot but it turned out they landed not quite where he pinged (a few hundred metres) away. I pick up some stuff and notice there is another squad nearby so I try to move back to my squad (I'm not taking on a squad solo), I get spotted and they chase but either I lost them or they weren't too interested. Took some damage and pinged. Nobody noticed, nobody cared.
Fine, meet up with squad and we are clearing out a building between us (this is the crash site behind artillary on KC). One squad mate starts getting attacked and freaks out on the mic we aren't with him and are no help... lol. I asked him where that enthusiasm was when I was getting shot at and chased.
We helped him out fo course and managed to win the fight but, jeeze.
