I play on steam so honestly this just hurts altogether. I just got word back from em and they are absolutely certain I cheated even though I didnt so I guess a new account would be my only shot. But honestly I'm not sure why to even bother now considering now I know I can lose everything cus of * incompetence on the part of someone else or some salty * reporting me for * and giggles.
Its just not fair. What the actual hell?
FYI. I downloaded Titanfall 2 about 2 days before I was banned. I might have not even played Titanfall 2 (on PC) until the day of the ban. It automatically links Steam to Origin for Titanfall 2. I never had Steam and Origin linked before. A lot of these bans are having something to do with Steam and I am even wondering if you can be hacked through Steam and the IP address won't show up in the EA data logs? I am also not buying this BS about passwords being cracked because there is such thing as number of failed attempts. It shouldn't matter if your password is crackable in 10^6 or 10^12

I think youre onto something. The possibility I was hacked by someone else also exists as I distinctly remember seeing myself as one of my friends a few days ago. Now it's completely gone. That said, whatever it is they better fix it soon. Cus this is genuinely annoying
- @Yachi-TsukuGami In the same boat. Level 286.. was finally getting good. Got banned for "cheating" never cheated, my stats all looked right to what I remembered. And been like that almost 2 months now. All my appeals were denied, and basically EA's TOS team says I "cheated" and won't fix it.
Maybe if we all keep complaining as a group something will happen?
Don't stop coming to the forums. Don't stop complaining. Keep the movement alive to get us all unbanned.
It's definitely a major problem now in my mind. Dude I am so sorry this happened to you. That's horrible man. Genuinely, 2 months like this? The more I hear about these cases the less hope I have honestly. Its starting to reach a point where even when they do realise that this was a mistake I'm not going to be as interested in playing to begin with since I now know I'm going to wake up someday randomly and be told all my works gone and tough luck cus I cheated when I didn't.

Right now EA admitted to seeing Suspicious activity on my account so I'm looking into that to see if I can salvage my game. If by some miracle that's successful, I'll still join so please pass your club name for the time being. But honestly I'm not too hopeful.

- @Yachi-TsukuGami first off if you get your account back make sure in future you use a 2 step verification on your account.
when somewhere anywhere NOT from your IP adress tries to login (even if they have your email and password) they can not. because a Six digit code will be send to your mobile phone/email adress/or automated phonecall for verification.

I enabled Two step Verification the moment I could do so and now I'm going to be very very very very very careful about any updates regarding my activity on this account.

Glad to hear! It seems as long as they can tie it to a suspicious activity you can get it back. Beyond that seems to be a no.
Yeah and the more I hear about it the more depressing the reality becomes. I truly agree with catching hackers but flagging innocent people alongside them is hardly a sustainable model. I just wish there was a better way to properly moderate this stuff and pinpoint hacking effectively beyond just a perma-strike and a "whompwhomp"message

if you cant find it in game or anything we can help you trough discord. @nathanhcy If they still allow appeals, make a new ticket asking them to check if your account has perhaps been compromised, present any proof you can if you've noticed anything weird that would give that idea, perhaps new stats in sections you havent played and so on, then wait for sometime. For some reason,or maybe it's because I sent alot of appeals in a panic, they were back to me rather quicker than I'd expected and confirmed that my account had indeed been compromised. From there we went through a process, and after that was finished,I could play again.

- @Yachi-TsukuGami Yeah i'm doing the same too. I'm engaging them on the account compromised factor but it seems that they're unable to track anything on their side unless the hacker managed to log in and leave obvious tracks like spending money or ranking up erratically. Hopefully mine get reinstated too. thanks!

@nathanhcyI hope so too mate! All the best with this and I hope they give you your account back! Honestly seeing how common this seems to be annoys me abit. I hope EA find a more definitive and effective way of pinpointing cheating amongst the random people caught in the crossfire
