Team KP Update is Necessary

@TheGhostOfKiev I’ve made a similar post back then requesting something like this as well or something closer to the ALGS. Team KP, in theory, promotes more team play. Me wanting team KP was coming from perspective of a player that’s always in a pre-made squad and didn’t think of the soloQ experience. The main argument against it is that you would have randoms who would just chill and be passive and still get KP/RP for doing absolutely nothing. Of course you would see threads made with titles like “Why does my teammate get KP doing nothing at all?!” And that’s a valid argument.

Respawn’s remedy to your problem was done in season 8 where the assist threshold was increased from 7 seconds to 10 seconds. 10 seconds is equivalent to 1 phoenix kit and is enough time to down someone in my opinion and to get an assist. On the other hand, a whole rank point system overhaul is what people actually want. The RP system is too reliant on kills and even promoted that even more in the last update.

Rank system too reliant on kills? I guess you could say that in high ranks,

however, if they were to remove RP gained from survival,

I bet you there would be a noticable gaps between ranks where certain ranks would have ton of players and other ranks almost none,

lot of people wouldn't be able to climb the ranks at all,

solo players that are decent but play solo would be hindered alot, reaching way lower ranks,

or same ranks for a way longer time..
