The bow is a rifle which makes no sound

I btw watched Lulu yesterday, she (and her teammates) did not exactly have a positive attitude towards the bow. According to her the playtesters had told Respawn it was op and needed nerfing, so she was quite surprised they had just ignored it. Watching her games did not exactly make me wanna go play Apex until it has been nerfed.

Yeah for a Bow to be silent is a normal thing, but this ain`t a good thing in Apex, where sound/audio is/was broken for so so so long. And silence weapons are just not good for this game at all.

It doesn`t fit the game at all. Its just going to give a lot of players more frustration.

Yeah some people will have ton of fun that are abusing it, but other that don`t want to exclusively play the bow, or play like that, aka hide and wait for a fight to begin and all we do is third party will be nightmare.

Again they are doing it for $$$$. A lot of casuals are going to use it, a lot of content creator to get this highlighted clips on youtube. That mean a lot of skin sold.

We don't, but then why do we need abilities either? It's simply a feature that's been added.

Vast numbers of people have complained about weapon volume and how they're always being third partied because of it, the bowcek is basically the response to that. 

It's quiet audio isn't the issue with the weapon, it's the fact that it's basically hitscan.....which is my only real criticism of the weapon as its ridiculous for a bow to have such arrow velocity. 

It should simply be a risk/reward weapon. 

The Bow will make third party worst. If you think they introduce it because of a third party factor, come on .... lets be real.

What is the chance all 6 people are using exclusively the Bow, so there is no shots fired, and no one heard you ? Exactly zero.

And if you have a decent game sense and positioning knowledge third party should not be a thing.

And the complaining about new weapons was long ago, from that point on we have few new addition, and from that point i didn`t even remember much thread about new weapon.

The weapon pool was fine as it is.

I really don`t see the Bow being balanced at all.

70/120+ damage is ridiculous, but its quite obvious they are trying to lower the TTK of the game, this time with strong damage weapons.

But Bow is super easy to use, super easy to land headshots, and its super easy and powerful on close range, which is ridiculous. Its also a super speedy, and have no reload, and pretty much no drawbacks.

Its insane.

The damage should not be higher than 50/90(or 100 at best). But still it should not be that easy to use/land your shots.

But mark my words this weapon won`t be balanced properly soon. Its either going to be a hit or miss.

Respawn balance is terrible, and always have been.

They need years to make one thing right, and just a day to totally destroy everything they have done previously. :D

@LordloshBang  Like I've said elsewhere bud the bow needs some tweaks that's a given....there is no real solid argument against that. I still maintain that the fact it's quiet really isn't an issue in the grand scheme of things though.

@MandatoryIDtag I think the sound is such a big issue right now simply because of how much damage it does, this is something that would be fixed with the damage being lowered though. I do think a really cool way to fix the 3rd party issue of this weapon for it being silent is to make it so the bullet (arrow) travel is a lot slower and for the arrows to sing while they're traveling so you can hear where the arrow is coming from rather than where the arrow is hitting. It would sound pretty cool too. Right now though it sounds like the arrows are being shot on you at all times (even if they're being shot at someone pretty far away from you) so maybe its an audio bug like Valks tactical but either way the audio needs reworking, it would be less of an issue once this weapon doesnt do kraber DPS anymore.

While may look fun, and be fun when using it, silent weapons are not a good thing at all in BR. We are talking about a huge Open World Map with 60 players on it, where you can get shot from every single angle on the map. This ain`t a CS:GO - small linear map with fixed objects, and to pre-aim/peek every angle, and the moment you get hit to know from where exactly you are getting shot, and to expect/know every position of a enemy player without even seen it.

And still even the weapons with silencer at CS:GO can be heard perfectly.

And mark my words, this weapon are not going to be balanced properly. They either its going to kill it, or it will stay broken.

They needed like 6 months to toon down Mastiff legend, and they have done it by the worst possible way, and not balance it properly and what was the problem, aka the huge spread/radius of its shots and the range of it.

They are balancing team are terrible. 

PK atm is also not balanced properly. 

But they want this weapons to be powerful, so they can sell their pricey skins.

The last thing the game needed was this.

The game is like 2 years old, for that time, the only real balanced weapon pool was in Season 8.

And btw some people were saying about the skill and that you need a great aim to be good with this weapon, which is entirely untrue.

You need average aim, or to be on controller and the aim assist will do the work for you ....
