The new map is horrible

I do know that we are not even 1 day into the new season, I played around 25-30 games so far on the new map and it was a really bad experience.

These might change in the future, but currently, it is bad, and I don't even think it suites the competitive scene

- Lot of large open area with no cover, resulting, if an enemy team notices you with a sniper you are toast, happened to me a lot of times during my gameplay

- Even if you have any cover in the open areas it is too far, or the distance between the covers are so far you are toast

- Even between the loot containers are large spaces which make equipping your self with basic decent guns to fight extremely time-consuming

- Closed areas are too large or too small, if it's too large, gives a lot of opportunity for campers, if it's to small close combat is a mess because there are indications from everywhere where did you got hit with what

- Forced rotation point's what does not make sense

- Multi-level buildings, if a lucky team gets there you are toast again, because if you are on low ground, no cover, and getting to a zip line takes a lot of time, (not everybody mains Pathfinder or Horizon)

- Because of the distances looting is a sacrifice, you either don't have enough ammo or don't have enough meds or both

- I think the trident was introduced to travel a large portion of the map, utterly useless and its controls are clunky

- Loot pool is still the same garbage since the crafting system got introduced

I don't know if this is related to the map or not but the audio is even horrible than it was before, and before you say "Oh it's the beginning of the season there are bugs at this state, yada yada yada" you keep saying this since season 1 and still no fix for it

So far this season is overhyped in my opinion, we will see what the future brings, but I definitely won't be playing for a while

PS: If you think Respawn / EA cares about this game, just look at the battle pass leveling, all they want is the player's money

I just uninstalled this f**ing game with origin for good, I had enough of the disappointments and torturing my self playing it.

Worst season ever. Battle pass sucks, played for 4 hours and still on level 1. Map is terrible. Can't see enemies, but they see you. Servers suck. Guns and aim feel off. Thought I'll play more this season, I'll definitely be playing less if at all - I'm feeling burnt out already.

Sorry, I think the new map is amazing. You actually have to, you know, not run through the open straight into the face of your enemy, you actually have to aim instead of enter a slappy fight, you have to plan where you drop. The vehicles are useful for moving about.

The Battle Pass is the one downside. It's not great and I think it's going to be bad, though I'm still giving it a go. The new character and background are fun and interesting, but I'm not sure if she's going to be that useful in play.

@Renegade_Prime86 100%. It's HOT garbage. Looks pretty but plays terribly.
Whoever designed it ought to be fired, not even being ironic

Just noticed small noises of the wind flowing through the grass and birds chirping.
I could almost chill on the grass.

@Renegade_Prime86 The map is brilliant. I played around 20 games today. This isnt KC where you just straight line from fight to fight. Only once did I die because I was down in an open area. And that was because I knocked someone from above and pushed down. Then a team came and took height. That is on me tho, not the game. There are jump towers you can use quite easily to get back choke points or to get to height. The buildings and POIs are brilliant. This map feels complete without any generic areas.

@Koochie-Q thank you for being a good map guide tonight.

The only issue I had was the audio. There is one area inside a factory or something where the background noise is so loud it kills the rest of the sound.

By the way, all the apartments and chill layouts are sweet for looks, loot and that's where fights become intense (and you need those close range guns)
