The sanity... the humanity
So it’s been a couple days since I have not ‘played’ Apex. I log on, hopefully find a pack in first game, finish the match if it’s been going favorable (really low standards. Favorable is even team i...
@Koochi-Q I deleted Apex the moment I finished this season's BP, and I highly doubt I'll be returning anytime soon. Been playing more Gunfire Reborn and Factorio with my little one.
It was just a no-brainer split second decision for me. No more garbage teammates who play like they've been dropped on the head one too many times as a kid. No more toxic "adults" who think that being an excessively rude, foul smelling raging dumpster fire is a personality. No more pointless avoidable gameplay bull crap that could've been fixed many seasons prior, but just hasn't been because "uwu 18 dollar recolors uwu". No more Apex, no more headaches, no more dreading the outcome of each match once I clicked "Play", no more dumpster fire public relations between a community that somehow someway wants better things for Apex and yet very vocally does everything in their power to be as divided as possible, and developers who spend more time making 18 dollar cosmetics, animated shorts, and flashy effects over prioritizing polishing current gameplay, all the while blatantly trying to milk players for every last cent they have, and STILL having raving rabid fanboys who do nothing but uncritically praise Respawn for everything they do.
I'm finally free baby! I've eaten 6 pounds of pasta in the 7 days I've quit playing Apex, and by God I feel better than ever for quitting.
