@VerinetinSupposedly, the SBMM takes some measure of skill into account other than level but I couldn't tell you what. Respawn won't tell you either because they say it would lead to exploits all over the place.
I play a lot but am not particularly good and I get the combination of clueless/solo randoms and ridiculously good enemies all the time. That is a horrible combination for me...I have a hard enough time winning a 1v1, let alone a 1v2 or 1v3.
I'm with you. There has got to be a better way!
Tbh though, I've had team mates (when queueing solo) that have all the flashy badges and high kill on their character, way better than myself, and they sometimes have a nightmare. From being killed instantly due to where we've just dropped or things like, they think they are better, don't play as a team and end up getting knocked and then putting the pressure on other team mates to try and help them or recover their box.
Playing solo is like a lottery
right? and just like the lottery there's a 1 in 10 million chance you'll win lmao
Lets just say those 4K and 20 kill badges is more or less impossible to do in solo queue with fill. Either no fill in bot lobby or team support.
If a player gets compatible team he performs like 10 times better then with incompatible team mates. Its does not always have to do with skill level. For instance if 3 support players get in the same group its devestating to the performance, same with 3 igl personas that is hillarious, everyone runs in all directions and its in general catastrophic hehe. Understanding this managing to communicating to a point and adopting to this fact will improve your avg team play in soloq.
I finally got a proper team formed a couple of months ago and only now we are starting to play as a proper team, I guess we still have a couple of months time to get fully fused as a team. So my advice, stop blame throwing 😉
