Third partying needs to be toned down to help with new player retention
I’ve had friends who’ve tried this game in the past and a major complaint they’ve all had for not sticking to it is the rampant third party problem, for this reason (and others I’m sure) they now all play Warzone instead
imagine you’re new to this game, put yourself in little Timmy’s shoes. He’s fairly new to FPS games and isn’t the best, he downloads Apex legends because of the fun, interesting characters and exciting gameplay. His team gets into a fight with another team, through quick thinking and good luck Timmy gets a knockdown on an enemy, he’s just about to get his first kill when suddenly...
xXxSniper-GodWraith69-TTVxXx and his team of predators with a combined kill total of 50’000 comes in and wipes the floor with them.
now if that’s going to happen pretty much every game then how long before little Timmy just gives up and moves onto a different game? why can’t you just let Timmy enjoy his own fight instead of letting every TTV across the map in on it too?
Seriously though third partying needs to be toned down, not just for newer players but for everyone, Yes it’s a battle royale and third partying is always going to be a thing. But at least lower the sound of gunshots so you actually need to be in the immediate vicinity to hear them, and not halfway across the map.
Another idea would be to make barrel stabilisers act like suppressors/ silencers, and the better rarity then the quieter you gun will be
