People found out that you can place UI elements in your usernames. At first, it was cool since you can put the badge or photo of your main legend or some other cool logos that’s in the game. You can also place a Respawn dev badge but I think you’re gonna get in trouble for that.Edit/Addition Info: Other players can crash your game if this appears in your kill feed. The way to prevent your game crashing and possibly losing valuable ranked points is to turn on streamer mode.Steps1. Settings2. Gameplay3. Streamer mode4. ALLThis way all the kill feed names will turn into the legend names and some random numbers.But of course people found a way to annoy everyone. Just look at this thing. LMAO!

@EversontakI can understand the frustration but it’s the only way to make sure you don’t get booted from the game for now. If I were Respawn, I would immediately announce that they’ll ban people who uses it while they work on the fix for the exploit. Also the analogy is a bit of reach. This is just a game. I agree that this could have been a cool thing to add small emojis/icons to your name but was obviously ruined by a few people

@Cheese9Man who is using that $* and crashing people (like i crashed without knowing why) deserves to get perma banned, people having fun by messing with other's game should never be tolerated or allowed, we are in the end of first ranked split season with people grinding to master and getting crashed because some idiot people have nothing better to do, should be a bannable offense.

@Eversontak Better be in streamer mode for now. Respawn hasn’t released a statement yet on the exploit.

Also there are reports of people crashing their game and their teammate’s if you have too many. Be careful when you’re using it.

More people are crashing especially in ranked and losing RP. I’ve provided a temporary solution in the first post. Also, here before the wave of complaints. Lol.
Some more examples of usernames that can crash the game. The small logos and icons are harmless and are actually cool looking but please don’t use these ones.

@damsonwhufndthis The exploit has only been discovered yesterday. As the news spreads, it will only get worse. Can’t imagine the stress some of the devs are having just before their Christmas vacation.
