@Cheese9Man yep, exactly. Sometimes you have to push in order to not get pinched. You also should push to get position in the next circle or to get better positioning. There's actually a lot of situations where you should push, you just have to plan it correctly. Now, if you're a solo q like me, you're screwed most of the time lol.

This is why I ignore my pug team mates and am on Mute. They'll push with a duo, no pings, nothing, just holding the forward move control. Then they die. Then I carry solo to a final 4 placement.
Often 1 will quit before graying out, which means I get loss forgiveness and they get a hefty penalty. This is ranked, of course, but the end result is it makes it even easier to give a solo carry and not feel any pressure.
If the ranked way of scoring on the way up wasn't broken six ways to Sunday, I'd play up to Diamond like 2 seasons ago, and then keep trying. As it stands, I might not last with my patience through Gold II which is where I am now. I've become disenchanted, so I play a few games a day then do something else.
