I also use Netgear but their simpler 100$ modem/routers and use a direct wired connection at 150mbps to play Apex but have only every gotten issues on stormy nights. My xbox sits right next to the router and I do lag a tad bit when I try to use a wireless connection but otherwise its all smooth and solid with no interruptions.

Man, reading all the replies here reminds me i can be grateful for the fact that west european internet infrastructure is as good as it is.
I can run just about anything on Wifi as long as i'm using 5.0Ghz.
Apex, no lag, stream on in 1080p or even 4K at the same time, no problem, also check Rag Tagg's new video on my phone at the same time, also no problem. And all of that with a humble internet bunfle of 100Mbps down (70 to 85 in tests) and about 30 up (15 to 20 in tests).

Well this isn't my connection, that is for sure. Took 3 games for this to happen mid game.

@GRiPSViGiL Bear in mind not all servers/routers respond to ping requests. 100% loss at a specific hop indicates a no response to pings, not a lost packet, if you are still receiving data beyond that point. This however,
fdr01.hlbo.or.frontiernet.net 74.42.148.185 2 1ms 1ms 2% 165 / 169 1ms / 14ms
is true packet loss and is certainly happening somewhere past your home router along the physical connection from your router to your network interface device, your interface device, the line to your isp, or your isp's hardware.
As to why you're being disconnected I can't say. I'm not very familiar with these modern cloud acount software systems.
On a side note the game server/client software doesn't really care about minimal packet loss. As a user you'd see it as something like rubber banding when moving, a misfire, door closing that you just opened, not having an item you picked up and such because the server will tell your client that you didn't do those things on it's next update packet if the user input packet was lost. A lost server packet would make your client hitch slightly as it redoes it's interpolation after receiving the next server packet.
Also, UOtrace? You got that from EA? I got it during the ultima online days.. Man I'm old.
