Total Damage

Hi there. I have a general question which is: Has Apex ever officially stated or discussed the fact that damaging Downed enemies does not count towards overall damage? I feel this one change to the game can make so many grinds much more easier, on top of incentivizing more Finishers and eliminating an enemy in the first place.

@TheRandomeerLite to my understanding, you are not damaging the downed enemy, it is the knock down shield keeping them from becoming a deathbox. The bleeding out is the slow loss of power unless another team member revives them. If you ever play a solo BR or your team is dead, your knock down shield does absolutely nothing.
