Transfering Apex account from Origin to Steam

Hi everyone, I have a question about switching my Apex account from Origin to Steam. How does that actually work? I'm confused about one thing. Do both profiles, Origin and Steam have to be on the same email adress? Can I switch my Apex from Origin to my Steam, which is on a different email adress? Because at the time I had made Steam profile, I used my old email and when I made Origin profile, I had my new email adress.I'd be very happy if someone gave me the answers because I can't seem to find good info anywhere.

The reason I want to move to Steam is that I have a lot of crashes on Origin and I like Steam more.

@s1monr1ley1 You can uninstall Origin, Apex steam version doesn't need it in any shape or form.

(There are some other EA games on steam that require Origin running in background)

@s1monr1ley1 I can't think of a reason why different email would matter(it shouldn't) afaik.

As for how it works, there will be a 'register' option when you first launch Apex on steam so you click on it and login to your EA account connected with Apex. That's it.

@BaldWraithSimp I don't know, it's pretty confusing. So, I literally separate apex from all the other games on my Origin? Is there any need to use Origin for Apex anymore after that? Or I can ditch Origin for good?

I had my credit card on my steam so i made a new acc so i can buy an octane skin. I bought it but now its on a steam acc. Idk if there is a way to merge accs? or somehow get them on another acc together. I thought i would be able to thats why i did it inm the firs place.
