Picked it up for the first time in a loooooong time last night, and finally cracked the 2,500 dmg barrier!! Only had 5 kills with a couple assists, but won the match and finessed the final couple squads with my buddy. That triple take feels different to me. I always used to hate it, before it was crated. I ran it with a 2x-4x last night, and absolutely loved it! Had the CAR to back it up close range. My only complaint is that I didn't get the badge for Pathy. Maybe I should start running more Valk though, because that match, and my highest dmg Arena match, were both with Valk. Just wanted to "flex" about my damage, LmfaooooAnother thing, which is something my buddy and I were talking about last night after that match. Getting wins on Apex is so much more fun for us, than other BR games. I have a decent win rate, but even still, I get really excited with each win! Adrenaline flowing and whatnot. I've played and won on the other BR's (PUBG, Fortnite, Warzone, Realm Royale), and I just don't get anywhere nearly as excited as I do on Apex. No idea why. Just an observation

As promised ...He had purple armour too. Why was he running around with 20 health? I only stumbled across him while looting. Heal, man, heal!

@damsonwhufndthis Yea, I believe that was a bug. I don't have a badge for that high damage Arena match.. just the good memory! I did manage to somehow get a 10 win streak badge in Arena, which I know I have not done? No idea where that came from, but I'm guessing the same buggy period?I would highly recommend! Especially with the long lines of sight on Stormpoint. I was just shooting at anything that moved, and was cracking/knocking people left and right. Final team had a Bloodhound that also had a Triple Take, but I played him like a fiddle

@KelRiever I am utter garbage with any scope larger than the 2-4x, so I never really used the 4-8x. I've been forcing myself to get used to the 3x, so have been improving there, and actually kinda like it.The 30-30?!?! I tried. I haven't used it enough to get the timing down. I do remember one dope kill with it, shortly after it was added, but that was pretty much it. I always tended to gravitate toward the Scout. With that being crated this season though, I just randomly picked up that Triple Take yesteday and went off!!Only other gun I can run a 2-4x on, is the longbow

@dSKyNafinchin I have a love-hate relationship with this gun. It’s so fun and easy to use but being at the other end getting shot by a TT at range is really annoying. Lol.

Is the Triple Take in care package or can you get it?
Cause that gun is deadly consistant.

@damsonwhufndthis Correct, no damage badges for Arena. I just know that Valk is the only one I've gotten 3,500+ dmg with in Arena.

It was in the care package, but is back on the floor this season, and it's back to being an energy ammo weapon!! It was shredding kids last night during that match. I just had purple mag and 2-4x on it, and loved it. I'm starting to think that I should have grabbed it from the care package more often. I typically passed on it

@dSKyNafinchinyou can't earn Battle Royale badges for Arenas, you used to do that but it said it was a bug
If Triple Take is out it might aswell become my weapon of choice in midrange for ranked, since that gun is just like... you literally don't have to predict horizontal movement it shoots 3 bullets in a line.
That adds so many consistant shots and sometimes I believe it hits with 2 bullets too.

@dSKyNafinchinwhen I felt like tryharding or when doing snipers downing challange in arenas, I took charge rifle, total beast gun sometimes

@damsonwhufndthis I am actually trying to get better with the Charge Rifle. I think with the Triple Take back on the floor though, I'll probably just stick with that, now!

Also, something to note, the Triple Take has been moved under the Marksman Rifle category, so it wont work for sniper challenges anymore

As a Marksman weapon, it lost the ability to carry the 4x8, which frankly gave it super long range kill ability....which in sniper language means it was the only okay sniper of its time, while everything else was underpowered.
It's still good now, but I've found I like the 30-30 a bit better, especially with double shot. And I prefer the either the 3x or 2x4x - the double take and TT are the only guns I think the 2x4x is okay on.

@dSKyNafinchinall snipers, and marksman weapons that are just differently named snipers, are quite fun to use, it is satisfying to hit a daring enemy so much they stop peeking, because sometimes, you crack them and they still dare to peek, that's when some of them face their deaths soon as they get hit by 2 shots in a row or a lucky headshot
