I've killed more Vantages so far this season than any other legend and don't think I've been killed by more that 1 of them. Probably a function of it just being too early with every team having one and nobody really knowing how to use her abilities well.
I'll try her at some point but I'm not optimistic that she'll replace any of the top legends I tend to cycle though (Horizon. Mirage, Bloodhound, Fuse).
I still don't like her personality and would have preferred her mother as the legend. Annoying teenager is just that...annoying...and just don't think it fits with the "survivalist sniper" skillset.
The problem I have found with Vantage is you can overshoot Echo's location on buildings etc too easily & when using the Echo Launch you can land well over your intended landing spot & back onto the floor & become an easy kill for any enemy that just happens to be on the ground nearby (it's happened to me a few times already ).The Echo Launch just feels like Loba's Tactical aka Burglars Best Friend but without any indication of where the projected landing spot is going to be meaning it relies on luck & judgement on landing where you intended to land particularly when fleeing enemies.As I mentioned in another post Vantage's best ability seems to be her passive Spotter's Lens but requires a minimum 2X scope for it to work.
I prefer using her passive to push a team after shields are broken, that's when it shines for me.
Also, seems many players aren't aware of the double jump feature, same could be said about waiting for echo to be at the intended location before jumping, you don't need to wait, just point the marker and immediately jump.

I'm running for my life with ring 1 chasing me, and you two keep yapping about a party the entire time!? And why does it sound like she says "Kurt Angle sucks"? 🤔
@Gabrielmojo26There seems a very small window to hit the jump or double jump otherwise you hit the invisible wall it seems.But directing Echo takes a few seconds for it to get anywhere close to it's destination (doing the instant launch as you mentioned will only get you about 10-20 metres ahead) & then to Launch takes a few seconds to charge before it works which can seem like eternity when being pursued or shot at by enemies & is kind of like Loba's Burglars Friend when thrown & waiting an age for it to land & there was the infamous bug where the bracelet wouldn't land & would just come back to you.
Rip, ult kills don't count as sniper, it's just loped into ult damage and total kills.
