I ALWAYS find golden flatlines and i end up just leaving it as its garbage late game, it's too slow compared the damage other guns put out, as for the triple take I have a love hate relationship with that gun, when sniping it appears alot of the time my bullets just go through people and it annoys me but at early game its great for wrecking individuals in your safe space.
I honestly love the changes that have been made to these guns, and the Flatline has slowly become one of my favourite weapons, especially with Gibraltar.
Here are my thoughts on both:
Flatline
I honestly think the Flatline is in a brilliant place right now, when you know how to use it, it is one of the highest DPS weapons in the game. I think the single-fire option on the gun needs a bit of refinement. Currently it doesn't really give you much more precision over the full-auto mode as the recoil is still very high, I'm not saying it should be in the same realm as the Hemlok, but It would be nice for it to be a little more reliable at range.
Triple-Take
This is honestly one of the most underrated guns in the game, I think stats-wise this gun doesn't need any refinement, it's perfect! However just as a quality of life adjustment it would be nice to have an option to switch precision mode on and off when you have the hop-up, as you don't always want to use it and taking the hop-up out of the weapon is a pain.

Flatline fires as fast as you can click :S Don't know what people mean about it being slow.

This thread made me push myself to pick up the Flatline once again yesterday, combined with the Hemlock as a primary to shred shields, the Flatline simply melted the enemies as a secondary, I had never tried this combination before, and now thinking i prefer it to my usual 301/r99 load out.

I think a lot of people avoid it because of the state it was in pre buff, i used to avoid the flatline like the plague pre buff. Tried it on the day they buffed it and the difference a couple of extra damage per round makes is crazy frankly.
The main mistake a lot of people seem to make is trying to use it far mid range. Yes you'll hit the target with good aim but there's better tools for the job. It's all about them CQC shenanigans.
