What’s with everyone landing at fragment

The vast majority of people who play this game are suffering from a pretty dramatic misunderstanding of how the battle royale game mode is supposed to work. When the dev tries to nudge them in the general direction by reminding them that BR is actually objective based... they freak out like a pack of spoiled children who refuse to be told that candy is bad for them, especially if you don't ever eat anything else.

But, as others have said, in the end we all make of the game whatever it is that we want it to be. And I'm no exception. And I can tell you right now there's no end of people explaining to me in very colorful terms why I'm doing it completely wrong, am a terrible player, and probably also a terrible person in real life. All for playing the objective. So it goes.
