It's not good for the same issues as regular pubs. As soon as someone gets know they leave. So if 2 people get knocked you're facing a 2 on 4 & possibly more if a 3rd squad gets involved. Running around solo in Quads ain't it.
Plus an extra person can make it harder to get what you need especially if you have a loot goblin on the team. Had a Rev pick up the gold knock & I tried to tell them multiple times to give it to the Lifeline on our team. Surprise surprise they're 1 of the 1st ones down in a fight & LL was the last 1 alive.
I was like man too bad you didn't give LL that gold knock & quit to the lobby. I'd much rather have Solos back than this mess.
The only good thing about quads is you can put the better players in the front and the two least good in the back and it makes the fights easier. I think if you had 4 friends all talking to each other you could come up with a powerful team, I've only played with Randoms though.

"They really need an abandon penalty on this mode since it needs everyone there in order to work."
Penalties do not turn angry, frustrated players into motivated, ambitious teammates.

As have most of us. This is why the skill imbalances (and matchmaking imbalances) in team-based games are amplified by whether or not you can find able, like-minded squad mates. And most people can't or won't, yet the game has to be built around the handful who can.- sebashooter2 years agoNew Hotshot100%. MIXTAPE was completely unplayable without this penalty. I support implementing it in all game modes.
