What do people think about quads?
It's not bad but keeping track of everything going on in Trios is hard enough. Also feels like a similar legend meta to 3 Strikes where at least 2 healing & rezzing characters are a must.

The game mode is absolutely awesome, i have been screaming at them to stop solos or arenas, that no one cares about and start focusing on 4,5 mans. Playing with even more of your friends is fun and it inherently isnt too different from trios.
Now sure, there is a lot of extremely good premades in the lobbies and randoms are terrible, but again this has nothing to do with the mode, but simply SBMM etc.
Id love to see
quads stay
five mans be made as well
increase quads and fivemans overall playercount to 80 and 100 (so 20 squads of 4 and 5)
hell maybe even more, make it even more whacky and chaotic, it is super fun with all of your friends. Sure as randoms quads etc arent as fun, but i mean it wasnt supposed to be, to begin with, the mode is inherently made to enable people with even more friends to queue and play together and it is great at that.

- @TheDarkWaver Do you only play with a full friend lobby? Just curious as I've seen nothing but complaints about the mode, mostly from solo queues.
even the FF7 event with the sword was better than the quads lmao
It's actually a good game mode that is horrible because of the apex community. Teamwork + communication is important in trios but it feels like teamwork + having a defined role is more important in Quads. There's no way for every player to have a grasp on a situation and with the number of players involved a fight can change too easily. 4 players trying to communicate on the mic is only going to make things even more confusing unless you're an established team.
It can be fun but would probably need to be a ranked game mode.
