What does cross play need?
What is missing from cross play in terms of features? What could be improved upon? I would really like two things, some type of party chat that we can start. Right now when you game with people on...

I want the function to block an EA account when in home screen. Now you can block when you’re still in-game but as soon as you leave (at least on xbox) you can only invite or see banner.
Next... blocking EA account... or even on same platform blocking someone withholds them from being in your party. I get it far too often really that I play with someone and think ‘my gosh this person sucks like a vacuum’ and go to block them on Xbox (which does nothing but prevents communication) just to see that I already blocked them, meaning I already played with them in the past and that person sucked then as well. Sometimes I even recognize name from weeks or months ago...

The other would be on the report feature, to report unsporting behavior. It's rare now but every once in a while you see stuff.
