@aisthebestletterthe damage is irrelevant, I'd say casually good average is at least one kill or huge assist with like basicaly 200 damage without you getting knocked down

@aisthebestlettermy advice - don't focus on stats except for number of wins, top5s, win percentage.
This game is very bad at showing stats that actually matter, instead focuses on multiple random data that really says nothing and thus providing too much clutter.
Damage will greatly depend on:
a) what weapon you use - you can "farm" 1000 damage with snipers (and now triple-take) really easy, just get one of them, get a scope and keep the distance from enemies, done.
b) teammate performance - if they die instantly or set you up for failure, getting past 100 usually will be a challenge, especially if you drop somewhat hot = near enemies, on the other hand with a good team 500 in my experience is pretty much given, just need to withstand ego blow when you will have say 500-1000 but the team will have like 2000-3000 🙂
c) competition in the lobby - public games usually for me is either sub 500 if wel all die fast and I mess up, or 1500+ when all goes well. Personally now I don't even struggle to get 2.5k badge, got it randomly on Ash on the 2nd day of play (not that I care).
Yet when you play ranked, totally different story, I am happy for 1000 damage game with 1-3 kp in ranked most of the time, but the average probably is around 500-600 there.
Ask yourself what is damage?
In my opinion nothing unless you convert it into kills. I usually look at it this way: the enemy has max 225 hp, meaning 1 kill or assist should be converted from 225 damage, ok let an enemy heal once per battle (hit a battery) - 350 damage = 1 kp or assist for sure.
So I usually compare not the damage done but the ratio of total damage divided by total kills/assists.
That in my opinion is more accurate stat of how good/bad you are doing in the game aka how efficient you are rather than looking at the damage that show only how many shots you can hit. - CCbathwater4 years agoSeasoned Ace
