High gold rank and these are lines I have to write to Octanes every single game:Dude, don't run off. Stay together!Where are you going?Wait, don't go solo!Do you wanna fight 1v3?Etc....IF for some weird reason, these Octane players reply, it would be something in line with: "Shut the f..... up!"I'm not exaggerating, we are talking about at least 80% of all Octanes, that just runs off and dies 1v3.What is wrong with Octanes?

That scenario is not very common with the Octanes I talk about. I just finished a game where both I and the other squadmate were yelling at Octane to stop and stay in the team. But no, he just ran off, jumped into 2 squads, and died. It's the same over and over with Octanse, in 8 out of 10 games....

@DarthValtrex Yeah but that's a given lol, we're talking about the specific breed of apex player here that the OP is complaning about, which is why I felt no need to play devils advocate. 😛

@Nandor78 Don't know, but I had one Octane drop solo, he killed 5 people where he dropped to.. Teammate and I dropped to the place near Cryptos sat dish. Teammate who dropped with me gets knocked I proceed to knock 2 of the people who dropped him and almost have thee third eliminated.. He then DC's. Octane flies to swamps, I meet up with him. We proceed to win thee match he posted 3200 damage and I posted 2400. I thought for sure the Octane would be a loot goblin and just a bad teammate, he actually was a really good teammate minus the solo drop. Never heard a word from him until we win the match and I get a GG.

@Nandor78 cause you're better off fighting as many squads as you can and get a headstart before getting into plat. Plat 4 is the worst rank to start from 0 so most players below plat will try to get as much points as possible before ranking up to make climbing out of plat 4 easier.I'm a more aggressive player when I'm below plat but once I get into plat I start to play a bit smarter.

@MandatoryIDtag It's not just Octane mains though and not all octane mains are bad. I love a good octane on my team as it works great with Bangalore. I can ult people and use the jump pad to push aggressively when they are stunned.

Daze623 I get it if you are generally more skilled than most players in bronze - gold, and you manage. However, the Octanes I'm talking about just runs around like headless chickens and die alone. So, they don't manage, but still don't seem to learn what they can't handle.

You are right, but it's very common that Octane players do these things. I'd say that it's hands down the most used character for mindless, over-aggressive / kamikaze players.
