What is the point of respawn beacons in anything above gold

I don't know why they make such a song and dance when you activate them. Same with Loba's black market, the charge towers and the replicators. It's not difficult to spot enemies, so I don't know why these extra hints are needed.

How about making the loot bins around respawn beacons locked until the beacon is activated? That way respawning players have a chance of gearing up before they are attacked.

Having said that I do like the thrill of landing naked (you know what I mean) when you know there are enemies around. It's quite the skill to survive, get geared up then head back and polish off the people who wanted an easy kill.

It would be good if you could activate a respawn beacon without a banner. You could draw enemies and take them out. The drop ship wouldn't arrive though, so it'd be the enemies fault if they get nailed.

You can use the Respawn Beacons in a few different ways but mostly I like to use them as traps to bait people into an ambush.

Also try using them pre-emptively before a fight, this works well at the end of a game, using them exactly when you need them can be risky. 

Crypto probably makes the best use of the respawn beacons as he can place them down and then activate them instantly from a distance with his drone. I've done this a couple of time right at the end of a game to clutch!

Like hayhor said, simple solution we skydive back into the game rather than fall to the ground completely helpless lol. 😛

I would say from a lower altitude than the initial skydive though to prevent a teammate completely abandoning there team, think more along the lines of a jump towers range.
