What's going on with this LTM??

I didn't even get chance to play the first mode because it was gone within about 12 hours of it starting! The next mode only lasted a day and now this hot zones mode has lasted for nearly a week?? This mode is probably the worst one so far!

I would have thought that each mode would get a similar time frame? I haven't read anything about it so maybe I've missed the point of it??

There were some unexpected problems with the different gamemodes, as they told us via twitter.

They made the decision to save the other modes for a different time and instead offer the modes that do currently function.

What the exact problem is, is unknown. The first mode (immediate respawn) seemed to work fine to me.

Sad... but hey, new season is around the corner

Yes there were no in-game messages about this. They are probably focussing on delivering the next season.

The 'Second Chance' mode was dropped as sometimes the stats were not updating correclty. This happened to me, once. After being eliminated I was told I'd finished 0 out of 20, with 0 damage and 0 kills. We had actually finished around 7th, and I had 2 kills and 400 damage or so.
The 'Respawn' mode was dropped because it was crashing the entire server. I experienced several crashes myself.
