Who is pushing on rank ?

I'm grinding.  

I don't mind the split, but the predator change bugs me a bit.  Part of why I sunk my teeth into Apex was a wishful goal of becoming a predator through diligence and practice alone.  I'm all for lofty goals, but I have no delusion of being able to be a top 500 player.

The crashing is a non issue for me.  I seem to be one of a vast minority that doesn't experience performance issues outside of the occasional hiccup.

If anyone is looking to push rank lmk, as long as you can ping, idc if you have a mic or not. I'm trying to reach D/M (P is just a dream this late into the game..)

So far ranked is going good. First part through gold was super easy. Just played like I did last season and pushed every fight aggressively. Racked up points fairly easy. The grind through platinum has been pretty tuff it's way different from last season, squads are mostly hiding now instead of constantly fighting each other, it's crazy how the play style is so much different. I agree with all the unregistered gun fire both to and from me, like others have said net code issues, last night I got pretty frustrated for the first time in ranked i got disconnected mid game saying game code error or some bull, luckily I had my daily forgiveness even though it wasn't my fault at all. It is highly frustrating to be disconnected from a ranked match when you already have 3 kills or assists. I mainly only get kicked when squading up and it sends back to main screen. 

@asukojoMe, goal is to make master. No way I’ll make Predator. I’m almost to gold II but just started playing ranked Almost exclusively. Ranked is mentally draining though. I have to guide my buddies I’ve been playing with and we go for placement, then kills. That’s not to say we don’t push fights, there is just more thought in that decision and more thought placed into how we rotate, how to use ults and everything. It’s a lot less run and gun and definitely not push everything.

Odd part is my strongest area is mid/long range. My weakest is close combat especially when it’s chaos. But the guys I play with are strong in close combat. I’m getting good enough at long/mid range that I can hold back a 3 man squad solo. So I can sit there and break shields while they flank. They often get more kills then I do. But who cares if we win?!

I wasn’t but then I was playing in gold and found 2 good team mates and our play styles mesh super well, played 7 ranked games tonight won 4, 2nd place one and then 2 games where we broke even. All games 1000+ damage each and I was kill leader on 3 of them. Ranked up from gold 3 to gold 1 and I’m 1 game away from plat. Going for D/M. Pred is a streeeeetch

i almost play only ranked this season because my dream goal is to get to Master(Predator not even trying, i'm not that good), but i think it'll be very hard. Yesterday i got back to Diamond after the reset. I didn't expect to be back up so quickly though. One thing i changed is my top legend selection. I main Wraith but lately i played lots of matches as Wattson because i think she is really useful(specially if teammates pick fast-paced legends such as Octane or Path) . So from today i'll try to play Diamond games. If i see that i don't stand a chance i'm going to stop and give it another try when KC's back

Yeah, Predator doesn't even exist to me.  I'll be aiming for Master, though.  Apex Predator is reserved for eSport pros, streamers, and no-named beasts that pop up from time to time that can wreck even the best of the best yet no one knows who they are.  They aren't in it for the fame, for the glory.  They're just in it to get some frags and have a fun time and log off.  Respect.
