Why do people say a smaller tv/monitor is better for playing Apex?

I use a 50 inch TV to play on my xbox but recently sold it as I'm moving house and I'm now temporarily using a 40 inch TV. I read that quite a few people have said it's better to play on a smaller ...

Gamers who use monitors/small TVs sit at less than arm's reach from the screen. Going from playing on a home TV to playing on a high quality 27" monitor changed my game completely. I'm an older player like yourself, and wear my strong reading glasses when playing. I can see SO much more than when I was on a TV. I would literally never go back to playing that way, I'd rather not play.

@pandareno1999 Same for me. I always used to play on my tv, but ever since I started using the 27" monitor, I don't really like gaming on the tv anymore. I don't mind playing an RPG or Madden/NHL on the tv, but any shooters or racing games, I have to be on the monitor. I also use blue blocker glasses, which are wonderful
