LL is the most abused legend by teammates in this game ☹️, no one blame Wraith if she doesn't make a portal for the whole match, but everyone will blame LL if she doesn't drop the DOC or when she can not do a revive because you cornered your self 50 meters far and you are still crawling AWAY from her and still expecting to get revived.
when people get LL in their team they get careless, they just start pushing everyone without planning or coordination just because they think " oh we have a freaking lifeline in our team, she will get me if something happens " so they just rush in between two enemy teams fighting and when they get knocked they expect this LL to go in the crossfire and revives their sorry butts.
and it's very funny when both teammates start bitching and asking for DOC forgetting the this LL had to use it a few seconds back when she was engaging someone in the time both of you were busy looting
lifeline is not a personal assistant of the team 🙂 , if teammates are going to act stupid then don't expect her to come and save you and pay for your mistakes
- 5 years ago@maximas1986 You’ve seen the vid right? xD
LL players that forget revive shield is one thing... but if someone is out if the way of enemies... either pings ‘need help’ or ‘come here’ or is directly in front of you and an enemy is 20+ meters away or if an enemy is healing and you convey that through mic and the LL is not rezzing, then no, one shouldn’t play lifeline.
I’m not playing any different with a LL in my team. I almost never ask for drone, just rez (by pings with randoms). I just need that revive. Most of the time I already forgot that we have a LL on drop and am only reminded IF I see a shield rev.
LL’s job is to move her bum towards a downed teammate and get me up! That’s an oath she swore as a medic! If one doesn’t adhere to that, she a fraud and just as liable as the one that downed me in interspacial court!
But you’re right, I never... and I mean never expect a wraith to use portal. That’s just a person’s preference. It is expected when you’re in a hairy predicament and need a quick getaway but I don’t expect it and it doesn’t have to be done imo. A rez, when not in view of enemies anymore or when standing right next to a LL IS. EXPECTED!!! It is mandatory as proven in internspacial medical journal page 16, paragraph 3!- 5 years ago@Koochi-Q ok, first I didn't see the video but I can imagine but I wasn't talking about the video anyway I was talking based on my personal experience as a lifeline main
second, medical journal page 16, paragraph 3 clearly say " If in any situation/condition one of the squad members is downed, the duty of lifeline is to revive and rescue EXCEPT and not limited to a player with gamer tag Koochi and any similar "- 5 years ago@maximas1986 I figured you hadn’t seen the vid so I knew you weren’t talking about it but I gave it so that you see what some lifelines do xD.
Well luckily my gametag is nowhere near similar to that so those lifelines should do their jobs, stick me with needlez & pump me full of drugs so that I can sell myself off to drugaddicts or vampires who want to suck my blood!

@maximas1986I'm not that bad. I'm on about when lifeline hasn't used the drone at all yet or hasn't used it for at least 5 minutes. And with the revive I'm getting left alone when lifeline is right next to me completely ignoring me even when the enemy is in cover healing themselves.
Perfect opportunities to be revived are being missed. I'm not being selfish just pointing out that some players don't know how to use the character properly even when they are very experienced according to their badges. Why don't they pick a different character instead? Doesn't make sense picking a character and not using their abilities. If it's because lifeline is small then pick another small character like wraith and then they have some abilities they can use for themselves if they don't want to play as a team.
If they are new to the game then that's fine I understand or if they want to play solo then don't follow me around the whole game responding to my pings and then leave me to die when I get downed.
It was only a bit of a rant that's all. Just seeing it happen a lot more recently.- 5 years ago@Marge010 This situation is the exception to the rule though, the problem is that as soon as you get downed YOU have the urgency to get back in the game, your perspective of "safe" isnt your TMs.
LL is my main but the player pool IS toxic af, LLs are treated like indentured medic slaves.
Prime example of toxic stupidity, literally the game i just played, i got a vault key, caustic ran ahead, the usual "lets go vault, lets go vault". he then proceeded to punch me out of the way to steal the yellow pack........ i mean who is THAT stupid? THATS the truth of what LL deal with, the utter stupidity of taking a good perk from the team out of nothing but selfishness.
My own opinion is that millenials lack any kind of patience OR team cohesion, they are in it for themselves and lack the intelligence to understand that the object is to win, they have no strategy, no idea and mediocre ability, they think a good KDR means they are a good player.
I maintain my point in previous threads, random squads are toxic gutter cesspits.

I just had this chat with someone, I sometimes get Lifeline because I got up during the selection screen and didn't get Mirage. I don't usually use LL so forget about her revive etc. I have now started telling players that they have to yell at me to revive them.
