Why Do Y'all Like Hot Dropping?

In Ranked??? I really want to know the reasoning. Sure you might get some kills in the scuffle but you lessen your chances of winning the actual match.

@Lord_Scorpion34 It is necessary to accrue points early and camp later on instead of camping early on and trying to get points by fighting purple or red evos... most likely reasoning

@Koochi-Q First of all I assume Lord Scorpion is talking about the people that drop streamer house over and over.

I actually dont think it actually has anything to do with strategy. I think too many people watch streamers do it or worse yet they watch youtubers who only post their pop off games. So they think that is the only way to play.

Dropping right in the middle of more than one or two teams to get the shield up is silly. You dont need a hot drop to level a shield to purple. And you only really need purple. I dont even worry about red anymore. I'll kill someone red and take theirs.

Even @E9ine_AC doesnt just drop straight on that house. He always ends up there but he at least starts nearby to ensure he gets something, then full sends.

  @hayhor Yup, full force activated. Def little smarter to drop beside those in frag or around. That way when you roll into town it is very easy to 3rd party while they are low for the win.

    @Koochi-Q Ohh no i normally drop directly frag when solo queue. Only reason I don't with friends is because some dislike it and I try to not make them feel out of place when playing with me.

@Koochi-Q but your chances of survival drop significantly. There's times i can't even find a weapon or get stuck without armor. Everytime I get inn a squad that hot drops we're wiped before the rinng closes about 7 times out of 10. They can't even handle themselves but they wanted us to go there???

And it's not worth it to go to the blue circle hot drop just for one gold item. One!

  @Lord_Scorpion34 It is quite funny how people think they need to hot drop for stuff like that and for points. I've been watching a bit of shivfps play ranked. Shiv is quite aggressive but even he lands in spots to get stuff before fights.

  @Lord_Scorpion34 But... you want excitement and where do you find excitement? ROLLERCOASTERS! but since there’s no rollercoasters in Apex, you drop straight down aka hotdropping xD.
  
  If you can’t find a gun or armor... you chase a big thrill by challenging someone with a gun with your knuckles only. Thats the beauty of hotdropping :P
  
  Hayhor knows I hotdrop but I’m sensible. If I see too much or have nothing, I’ll not go into the eye of the storm or even near the storm.

    @Koochi-Q Yeah I hate hot dropping in Ranked. Or period really lol. Especially in Fragment. I try not to be the toxic teammate & break off. But if it means I can survive a little longer I just might 😅. But I'll land close by & join back up once I have weapons & armor lol.
