Why Do Y'all Like Hot Dropping?

In Ranked??? I really want to know the reasoning. Sure you might get some kills in the scuffle but you lessen your chances of winning the actual match.

@Koochi-Q but your chances of survival drop significantly. There's times i can't even find a weapon or get stuck without armor. Everytime I get inn a squad that hot drops we're wiped before the rinng closes about 7 times out of 10. They can't even handle themselves but they wanted us to go there???

And it's not worth it to go to the blue circle hot drop just for one gold item. One!

@Lord_Scorpion34 But... you want excitement and where do you find excitement? ROLLERCOASTERS! but since there’s no rollercoasters in Apex, you drop straight down aka hotdropping xD.

If you can’t find a gun or armor... you chase a big thrill by challenging someone with a gun with your knuckles only. Thats the beauty of hotdropping :P

Hayhor knows I hotdrop but I’m sensible. If I see too much or have nothing, I’ll not go into the eye of the storm or even near the storm.

@Koochi-Q Yeah I hate hot dropping in Ranked. Or period really lol. Especially in Fragment. I try not to be the toxic teammate & break off. But if it means I can survive a little longer I just might 😅. But I'll land close by & join back up once I have weapons & armor lol.

  I don’t, I’ll break off the drop even though it can hurt. But seriously most hot drops mean you die do at Leary one of us lives.
  I usually land just outside the area when the others break away. Sometimes I can even get them. It’s not like I’ll win solo either but often I can at least break even on points for myself and then if they don’t bail on the game.
  and sometimes I can stop them dropping in a dumb place by breaking away if they follow, and we can start cleaning up.

  That's because you're likely playing with little kids that don't know any better. There's no point or excuse to ever drop on any poi when 5 other teams are already doing it and some are already on the ground! If you do, you are either a pro player of some kind, very young, or a complete idiot, yet this happens game after game after game after game and we die 99% of the time. They must watch too many YouTube videos where they see streamers just run through the whole lobby..
  Some people just don't have the common sense to realize their giving out free kills to their opponents like it's Christmas.

    @Sand_spitter Nope, I don't play with kids. I solo queue a ton, but when I play with friends I really don't care where we drop. There are a few locations I don't like on WE because they just have horrible loot. But I'm open to dropping hot, slow or any place. I try and make the best of every round no matter where we drop.
    
    Hot drops can be fun, super intense fighting one squad after another. There is nothing like surviving frag when 8-9 squads drop there. It's really fun if you're caustic and have a loba, life line or wattson on your team. Multiple squads fighting you're trying to keep people out of your building.. stacking up damage numbers and kills.. You finish off the last squad and think wow that was intense! Pumped up and ready to go for the next fight.
    
    Everyone has a different idea of what's fun, nothing wrong with that. If you enjoy hot drops you do, if you enjoy slower PoI you do.. Both are legit strategies to play the game.
