why do you keep mixing ranks?

it'd be nice to have an official answer ^^

It completely ruins the experience for all involved.

Why as plat 1 do I have silver player in my game or gold IV player in my game.. he's nowhere near my skill lvl it's the same even for plat IV and plat 1 the difference between the 2 players is huge, that plat IV player could have easily got to plat IV by position in ranked games not kills or ability to play and soon discovers that he cannot climb in platinum because of this. I find that a lot of bad players end up collecting at Plat IV

Completely ruins the ranked experience and removes any integrity of even having a ranked system. I would much rather wait for 5-15 minutes than having a frustrating experience with a team that is not on my skill lvl.

I don't mind lower tier players matching with me in ranked, if they're skilled enough to contribute something to the whole. I often get gold IV with me that is much better than random Platinum II or I players. I am experimenting with solo queue and what I'm getting lately is just terrible players in the same skill group. Both players combined usually do around 300-400 dmg with 0 frags up to the point we die, while I get to 1600 with 4-6 frags.. I get such bad players matching with me all the time, that it makes me wanna delete the game. How do those players get to Platinum, I have no idea, but they're so clueless, that I'm baffled.. 
Example: I spot, tag and call out enemy team. They see me, start shooting at me, fight breaks loose. I manage to down two, while the third one gets me with about 50 hp left. I am always tagging enemies and calling out via microphone, teammates need about 30 seconds to register something is going on.. I order them to push because only 1 remaining with lowish hp.. Now two teammates Platinum II push in (ofc 1 by 1)  and they both die fully shielded, to a guy that has 50 hp left, and cant even hit him. I say such bull****, it is unbelievable.. That is my main problem, matching with randoms in the same skill group.

@Nolege_is_power It's just completely wrong what you're saying, a gold IV player and a plat 1 2 player are completely different. 

They keep matching me with these players,  previous game I had was with a silver II  and a plat IV player in a plat 1 game who says "the silver is with me" guess how that game went... horrible so horrible. It feels like such an artificial experience when you get matched with silver/gold players some games and i'm obviously are at a major disadvantage and lose the game compared to being matched with people on your own skill lvl and end up winning or at least getting further into the game.

Do Respawn even play their ranked are Respawn deliberately trying to tilt players and make their ranked experience as horrible as they possibly can because that's what is happening in this game when you solo que... I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY WITH PLAYERS BELOW MY OWN RANK.

@Boa767 , I don't think I was clear enough about my problem.
What I'm getting lately is such bad players in the SAME skill group that I play. I'd love to see teammates that can do same damage as I can, but this almost never happens. Almost always there is such a big discrepancy in skill level between us. I'm really getting agitated, because I usually carry and save them, and they die to such stupid mistakes, it is unbelievable.

On the other hand, I have had some surprisingly good Gold players mixed in my Plat II skill group (yes, occasionally they suck, but often times they make far more dmg than plats), which I really welcome, since I literally hate clueless platinum players running around, getting downed like it is their first game.

It looks like premade squads are the only option. 

EDIT: I feel your pain man, my platinums II in a platinum II group are like your golds, most of them are complete muppets, and that frustrates me even more.

It's pretty crazy how so many people can have such a different experience, but not in a good way.

I see some of you are getting ranked with trash teammates but playing with a lobby of your skill level. What about pre made of your level? Do you get higher ranked opponents ? 

I dont understand why as a plat 3 (my teammates are plat 4) we get these predator lobbies constantly.  My one teammate and I have over a 2 k/d, and one has about a 1.5 k/d. But we get matched with top 100 players so much its laughable.  

The way the SBMM should work in ranked is like this. If you join solo, you should be matched with only your rank level, if your plat, the whole lobby should be within 2 or 3 tier levels (plat 2 matches with diamond 4 at highest and gold 1 at lowest). If you are in a premade it should be the same but calculated from your highest ranked member.   

Something needs to be done with the ranking system.

I would like it if they ranked everyone with people their own lvl or in exceptional cases where there isn't enough players 1 level below them such as plat 1 gets matched with plat 1 and 2 or diamond IV 

Because the way it is at the moment it matches people to my plat 1 games who are in silver 2 how is that anywhere near plat 1 that is 9 rank levels below me that's crazy, what sort of bogus matchmaking is that.
