Why does 2nd half of a season always suck after the reset? Get rid of reset!!

Bro I can’t do anything at all after the reset. Horrible teammates, unfair damage in 1v1s, cheaters, squad mates that want to drop solo into the hot zone then expect you travel from the opposite end of the map to revive them (lol). Why is there a reset in the first place? If I’m a diamond player (which I was at the end of the first half of the season and was back in season 3) why should I be punished with factors that are out of my control and hurt me going into the next season? Because then I’m relegated to an even lower rank than I was in the previous season when I know what kind of caliber player I am and have proven to be. This game is such bs. I feel like this game is just against me no matter what I do lol.

    @DaDeDimson Respawn took a look at how several other companies revert players progression coughDestiny2cough and decided to implement it here.

    All to encourage grinding for the goal that's mathematically calculated to be near unreachable unless you have premade pros

    @Deliberus  and that's the reason why this game is considered "dead" by many. The only time people people take notice of this game is when there's a new update and after a few weeks/days they just drop this game like an ugly baby.

    @Deliberus I'm grinding through ranked about 70% of my matches played are solo queuing. I'm almost to platinum..

    I will agree that it's very difficult. Lots of very noob players camp their way up into gold/platinum and do not belong there. Let's drop to Trials. WHY?! For 3-4 gold items?! Let's then loot frag, as I actively request syringes and don't have any.. But I mean hey we have to run to Harvester...

    @Daze623 Almost all games that launch these days are left behind unless they have great replay ability.

    Battle Royales had it the best when they came out with multiple hot drop zones, weapons and new mechanics.

    Now that the meta has settled where it has, it mostly consists of either camping or 6th partying with most weapons being dismissed for only the best of the best.
