Why does nox destroy electric fence??

Before they make decisions about what gas traps do and do not affect, they need to buff Caustic. 

The fact that his gas blinds and slows his allies is absurd, in an environment where even anti-social assassins have ultimates that greatly benefit the team. 

His ultimate is clunky, slow to prime + throw + detonate, and to add insult still starts at a mere 4 damage per tic as his normal gas traps do. 

He does far too little damage with gas. His traps are usually easy to avoid or destroy. EMP destroys them. Wraith detects them. Pathfinder can grapple out of his ult and any other gas. 

There are niche situations were Caustic is very powerful and annoying, and unfortunately people who do not often play Caustic will judge him based on his best moments, instead of the sea of mediocrity and struggle that encapsulates his game-to-game play. His struggle is real.  Meanwhile, characters like Pathfinder or Wraith have entire games of fun and effectiveness, but when you interrupt that with a rare, prime Caustic play, they highlight that moment and say "he's fine" or "I hate that character." 

And no one wants to admit that a character whom they hate, or destroyed them last game, needs a buff. Let that is exactly what Caustic needs in order for Apex to be a balanced game.
