Why does RESPAWN stop giving FREE Apex Packs at lvl 500?

I only have a few hours of play time this season, and I've got about 10 BP levels without trying to complete challenges.  I really don't think completing it is that much of a grind.  But it would be cool if we got some sort of extended rewards as most of you are suggesting.

Now I understand why there are so many smurf accounts. It constantly gives legend tokens when at max level. I unlocked all characters and there are 167000 legend tokens. indistinguishable from garbage. APEX doesn't think about max level.

I'm going to open a smurf account too. (maybe heirloom will come out) because of this thought one day the apex will be garbage.

Last season we got this badge, Nessie's Big Day, for completing 75 dailies.  You don't have it? 

@hayhor not only have fortnite extended the battle pass rewards, they have reduced the xp required to do the levels over 100 down to 65,000xp. In addition they have also left it open to just leave your dolly in creative doing nothing for 1 1/4 hours a day and earn 125,000xp. Not to mention that the super powered xp pops up every now and then.

However if Respawn were to do somthing like this I can see a lot more of the 150+ charms and 480K+ LT that I already have, on the horizon. 

I have 441,200 Legend tokens. Sure wish I could use them for something...

They should at least have something ridiculously expensive and rare for the long term loyal players. Like sea of theives.
