Why does a bullet do more damage than an artillery shell? Why does a bullet that hits you in the head, not insta kill you? Why doesn't shooting someone in the legs, make them crawl? Why doesn't shooting someone in their arm affect their ability to hold a gun? Why does twisting a blue jar fix your broken armour?
Because it's a video game, don't over think it. At least it's not a one hit kill like in Titanfall 2.
