Why is my aim so trash sometimes?

@EdwardDLuffy I struggle with this too. And I have days where I seem to control recoil well and other days where my gun is a monster I cannot control.

@EdwardDLuffy I hav days in which I'm on point in every fight, other fights not so much.. I think we all go through it.

I have noticed when I use one gun too much, I get used to that guns strong points and recoil. If I switch to something else I'm horrible for a bit.

I have even noticed in game, I'll struggle with the first squad or two my team bumps into. Next 2-3 squads I absolutely destroy the enemy.

@EdwardDLuffy I think it is mostly what Darth said you just get used to using certain weapons so you get thrown off. Could also be servers because well they're pretty bad recently. Maybe we are all getting old and our reaction times aren't what they used to be xD

I just took that as a joke in reference to Revs age but now I'm interesting into hearing who's replaced the murder bot?! Fusey?

@EdwardDLuffy I am pretty sure the problem involes lag and is server-side. Sometimes it feels like the game is buttery smooth and everything works as intended. But other times you shoot your volt and you have the recoil of a tank canon and out of 28 bullets you land 2 while the others disappear in the void. Or you shoot your r99 and it feels like it spits 2 bullets and it empties same with 301. Many times I threw arcstars and i could swear i stuck people but they disappeared. It's not that I missed and they got stuck to the wall or floor and exploded, but they completely disappeared as soon as they left my arm, like they were never there, no explosion no 30 stuck dmg no nothing.

I've spoken about similar stuff many times before and I suspect that it's being done to your account intentionally. EA has something called Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA) that they used in Fifa. No one said it's a feature in Apex but I have my doubts. Basically what it does is at any time the game can manipulate your gameplay by making small adjustments to your sensitivity settings, movement speed, input delay, accuracy, aim etc (while boosting those same things for your opponents if I remember correctly) to promote a certain outcome. Like a nerf or a buff basically which makes the game easier / harder for you. There is a full explanation of it on YouTube that I suggest you go watch. The goal is player retention. You are lead to think you suck at the game so you spend more time playing it with hopes to improve, almost like sbmm.

I spoke about something similar recently where I started to notice a pattern that when facing some enemies or in some matches I can feel my movement slowing down and it just seems like opponents have a distinct advantage over me when it comes to movement speed, reload speed, ttk, gun control etc. Likewise in some games everything feels super responsive and sharp, my aim is on point and we're just steamrolling through the lobby. So what changed from one game to the next? It's almost like it was pre decided who will win and who will lose to some extent. Blame it on servers, lag, connection or whatever but you don't just go from having near perfect aim with an R301 to missing every bullet game after game. I'm not buying it. You ever wake up one day and just forget how to drive? Stall the engine 5 times on your way to work and mess up your turns like a noob? Something you do daily, spent countless hours to master and has basically become second nature? Didn't think so. I've read many complaints about people having aim issues with the start of the this season and it's something I can relate to with previous seasons. One day you're lazering people across the map and the next it's like you need to learn recoil control from scratch again. Seems the tables are now turned for some. It doesn't add up.
